These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SafeNG, including our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by SafeNG ("SafeNG", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

SafeNG is a crowdsourced and predictive safety intelligence platform. The Service allows users to report safety-related incidents, view community reports and safety scores, receive alerts, and share status updates with trusted contacts. SafeNG aggregates user-submitted reports with other data to provide safety insights and predictive analytics.

2. Not an Emergency Service

SafeNG is not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger or require urgent assistance, contact your local emergency services (such as the police, fire service, or ambulance) directly. SafeNG makes no guarantee of response time, accuracy, or availability, and must never be relied upon as your sole means of obtaining emergency help.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create a SafeNG account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

4. User-Generated Content

SafeNG allows you to submit reports, comments, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you represent that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant SafeNG a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service, including sharing aggregated or anonymized data with the community.

You agree not to submit User Content that is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, or submitted in bad faith. SafeNG reserves the right to remove any User Content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Community Conduct

You agree to use the Service responsibly and not to misuse safety reporting features, including by submitting false reports, impersonating others, or using the Service to harass, stalk, or endanger any person or organization.

6. Location and Sharing Features

Certain features, such as Trusted Circles and live location sharing, require you to grant location permissions and may share your location or status with other users you choose to connect with. You are responsible for managing who you share this information with. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how location data is handled.

7. Rewards and Recognition

SafeNG may offer recognition, badges, or other benefits to contributors as part of our Impact Rewards program. These are provided at SafeNG's discretion and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

8. Disclaimers

The Service, including all safety scores, predictive analytics, and community reports, is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. SafeNG does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided through the Service, as much of it is derived from user submissions and third-party data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafeNG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of safety, property, or life, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
